What Is Drive Insurance from Progressive?
Drive Insurance was launched by Progressive in September 2004 as a distinct brand for the independent insurance agency channel. From 2004 through 2007, Drive Insurance was sold by independent agents across most US states. In 2007, Progressive consolidated its brand strategy. Outside California, the Drive Insurance label was retired and existing policies were rebranded under the Progressive name.
