What you’ll be doing.
A Plus Insurance is a family-owned independent brokerage representing carriers like Progressive, GEICO, Dairyland, Mendota, ASI, Foremost, Travelers, Bristol West, and more. Our mission is simple, help clients save money while finding the best coverage for their needs.
We’re a fast-growing agency where agents wear many hats, sales, service, and even a touch of marketing. This is a great opportunity for someone hungry to grow in a supportive, high-energy environment.
You’ll field inbound calls, no cold calling, and guide clients through quotes, coverage comparisons, and policy issuance across 35 states. Once proficient, average call time runs about 10 minutes. The focus states are CO, SC, AK, TX, GA, FL, and AZ.
What a great day looks like.
Handle Inbound Calls
Field 30–50 inbound calls per day covering quotes, rewrites, and service work. No cold calling, ever.
Compare & Quote
Use EZLynx to compare carriers across 35 states. Provide accurate quotes, bridge to carriers, and finalize underwriting.
Issue Policies
Collect signatures via e-signature, upload documents and photos, and complete apps in Google Drive and Agency Matrix.
Solve Underwriting Challenges
Think quickly through salvage titles, cancellations, driving history issues, and non-standard risks.
Manage Client Relationships
Handle endorsements, billing questions, policy service, and renewals with a professional, caring approach.
Use Our Tools
Work daily in RingCentral, Google Sheets, Agency Matrix, EZLynx, and RightSignature to keep everything moving.
What we’re looking for.
Required / Preferred
- Valid P&C license required, this is mandatory to be considered for the role
- 1+ year in insurance sales, auto or home, or phone sales preferred
- Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
- Professional phone demeanor, confidence, clarity, complete sentences
- Strong typing, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and strong ethical standards
Bonus Points
- Background in marketing, web development, or social media
- Experience with RingCentral, EZLynx, or Agency Matrix
- Comfort navigating non-standard underwriting scenarios
- Ability to be flexible on schedule with a hard focus on afternoon and evening availability
- Experience handling SR22 filings, non owners, or broad form policies
- Familiarity with multi-state insurance regulations

Desktop Computer
Quad-core processor or better. Laptop setups are not recommended for this role.

Required for managing multiple systems simultaneously, rater, CRM, phone, and docs.
High-Speed Internet
Stable, wired connection preferred. VoIP calls and real-time quoting require consistent bandwidth.
Printer
For occasional document handling, applications, and compliance paperwork.
Headset with Mic
Corsair recommended. Clear audio is essential for professional client calls via RingCentral.
Dedicated Office Space
Quiet, distraction-free workspace. Background noise on client calls is not acceptable.
