What you’ll be doing.
A Plus Insurance is a small, family-owned multi-state insurance agency built on a simple promise: honesty, care, and expertise for every client. We treat our clients like family, and we treat our team the same way.
As a Customer Service Representative, you’re the voice of our agency. You’ll be the first person clients hear when they call, and your professionalism sets the tone for their entire experience with us.
This is a structured, performance-driven role best suited for someone who is confident on the phone, organized, and thrives with clear expectations. No insurance license is required, but a genuine desire to help people and show up consistently is a must.
What a great day looks like.
Answer Inbound Calls
Be the first voice clients hear. Answer promptly, professionally, and with a solution-focused mindset every time.
Handle Policy Servicing
Process payments, send ID cards and policy documents, and assist clients with their coverage needs via text or email.
Warm Transfer Prospects
Identify new client opportunities and transfer them confidently to our licensed agents using RingCentral.
Document Everything
Log all interactions accurately in our systems. Proper documentation keeps the team aligned and clients protected.
Support Operations
During low call volume, assist with operational tasks, marketing projects, and assigned deliverables.
Fulfill Document Requests
Monitor app notifications and send ID cards or declarations pages to clients quickly and accurately.
What we’re looking for.
Required
- 1+ year of customer service experience (insurance experience a plus)
- Strong verbal communication, confident, clear, and calm under pressure
- Comfortable with CRM systems, Google Drive, and VOIP platforms
- Self-motivated and accountable in a remote setting
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask effectively
Preferred
- Prior insurance agency experience
- Experience with RingCentral or similar VOIP systems
- Familiarity with activity-monitoring or time-tracking software
- Knowledge of multi-state insurance operations
How we measure success.
95–100% Activity Level
Maintain consistent activity in Team Logger throughout your shift. Activity below 90% may result in a performance review.
Calls Are Always Priority One
Stay logged into RingCentral during your full shift. Incoming calls take precedence over all other tasks, no exceptions.
Follow SOPs Consistently
Adhere to our standard operating procedures on every call and interaction. Consistency is what builds trust with clients.
Structured Schedule & Breaks
Work within a defined schedule with documented break protocol. Remote accountability is core to how our team operates.
