We’re not a corporation.
We’re a family.

Shawn and Amy Christie started A Plus Insurance over 25 years ago with a simple belief — that people deserve honest guidance, not a sales pitch. We’ve stayed small on purpose. Every person who joins this team isn’t employee #247. They’re someone we know by name, lean on, and grow alongside. If that’s the kind of place you want to spend your working hours, you’re already one of us.

Common questions.

Do I need to be licensed to apply?
For sales roles, an active license is required. For service roles, if you show interest we can help with the licensing process.
Where do you hire?
We’re remote-first and licensed in 35 states. As long as you’re based in the USA, you qualify. We do have occasional in-person meetups and trainings.
What’s the interview process like?
Typically a short intro call, a skills-based conversation, and a final chat with the team. We keep it simple and respectful of your time.
What does the team culture feel like?
Collaborative, direct, and genuinely warm. We’re a small team that moves fast but takes care of each other. Your voice will be heard from day one.
