How about seeing these scenic views on your motorcycle? Here are 5 most popular roads to ride in Denver if you have a bike.
Top of the Rockies Byway- This you can do in a day, its 75 miles. You will get to pass by 2 of the highest peaks in CO. First is Mount Massive, which is at 14,421 feet and then Mount Elbert which is at 14,433 feet high. When you are done stop at Silverthorne, there you can pick and grill your own meat!
Mount Evans Scenic Byway- This is 28 miles but climbs up to 7,000 feet! At its highest, it gets up to 14,264 feet which is the highest in North America! Of course, make sure you stop at Mount Evans, which is a great place to watch mountain goats!
Peak to Peak- Here is 55 miles! This is a place with tons of casinos. Here you can see the greatest views of the Continental Divide. It is a historic route, and you will ride through Colorado’s sleepy mountain ghost towns.
Trail Ridge Road- This is 66 miles from Denver and the route ends at Grand Lake. It is the highest paved road in the country. Its elevation is 12,183 feet. This trail is 48 miles long. You will get to see herds of elk crossing the roads. There is a $10 fee to enter, but it is absolutely worth every penny!
Lariat Loop- This one is a 40-mile stretch. This is full of historical and cultural landmarks. There are lots of restaurants and museums to stop at along the way. Check out the Coors Brewing company while you are there!
