Who typically needs a Non-Owners SR-22 Policy in Virginia?

Individuals who do not own a car but still need to meet the SR-22 insurance filing requirement in Virginia may benefit from a Non-Owners SR-22 Policy. This is often required for those with a revoked or suspended driver’s license due to certain violations or accidents.

How does a Virginia Non-Owners SR-22 Policy differ from regular car insurance?

A Virginia Non-Owners SR-22 Policy differs from standard car insurance in that it specifically covers individuals, not vehicles. It provides liability coverage when driving vehicles that the insured person doesn’t own. It does not cover the vehicle itself but rather the liability arising from the insured individual’s use of non-owned vehicles.
