When shopping for motorcycle quotes, it can sometimes be such a hassle that people dread completely. Right here, at A Plus Insurance, we strive to make this process not so dreadful. Let us explain the process of getting a quote.
A quote for auto insurance can be given to you in 10-15 minutes. First things first, we will ask for some personal information. We will ask for your name, address, email address and phone number. Amongst some other basic information.
After that, we will move onto what coverages you are looking for. You will be given the option to stay at the state minimum liability for your state or you can choose to go higher. Then there is also the option for full coverage. Full Coverage is Comprehensive and Collision coverage with liability. With full coverage you will be asked if you’d like to add onto the quote the option for roadside, rental, uninsured (underinsured) motorist and medical payments. Those are add-ons that are not required and you can opt out of.
Then you will also be asked if there will be any additional drivers in your household or outside of your household that may drive your vehicle. Then we can move onto your vehicle- your VIN number will need to be given and your driver’s license number. We need these in order to run the Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
There you will be given some different options of pricing with a few different carriers that offer motorcycle insurance. The agent will run through the pricing with you, and you can choose the best rate that works best for your needs and circumstances. If you decide on one of the motorcycle quotes, the agent can get it started right away for you. All your documents will be sent to you from your agent via email. You will be able to review your documents and sign some forms with a program we use called DigiSigner. After all that is done, you are set to go on the road!
