Looking Towards 2025: Personal and Business Growth

As we approach 2025, it’s the perfect time to set both personal and business goals. Growth is something we all strive for – both as individuals and as contributors to the success of the business.

Introducing the SWOT Tool

During a business seminar I attended in October, I was introduced to a powerful self-analysis tool called SWOT.

For those unfamiliar with it, SWOT stands for:

  • Strengths: What are you good at?
  • Weaknesses: What areas could use improvement?
  • Opportunities: What opportunities or tools can you leverage?
  • Threats: What external factors could challenge you?

Why Use SWOT?

The SWOT exercise is a valuable way to reflect on where you stand now and identify ways to improve and grow. Taking this step can help us better understand our abilities, recognize areas for improvement, and seize opportunities in 2025.

How to Get Started

  1. Use the interactive SWOT tool below to complete your self-reflection.
  2. Once finished, I encourage you to share your analysis with at least one other person.
  3. If you would like to share your results with me, I am committed to helping you advance your personal growth. I will check in with you monthly to provide support and accountability.

You can share your SWOT results with me via:

  • RingCentral (Personal Message) OR E-mail

What’s Next?

I will also be working on a SWOT analysis for A Plus Insurance for 2025 and will share it with everyone once it’s complete.

Together, let’s take the time to reflect, plan, and set ourselves up for success as we move into the new year.

SWOT Self-Reflection

SWOT Self-Reflection

Take a few minutes to reflect on your own Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats as part of this exercise.

Strengths

What are your strengths? (e.g., skills, qualities, achievements)

Weaknesses

What areas do you feel need improvement? (e.g., consistency, time management)

Opportunities

What opportunities are available to you? (e.g., training, networking, tools)

Threats

What external factors might challenge you? (e.g., competition, economy, burnout)
