Mount Evans Scenic and Historic Byway- This is 28 miles one way and will take you about an hour to explore. While riding through it, you will see the amazing mountainsides and glacier cut valleys! You eill see wildlife like mountain goats and bighorn sheep along the roadway.
Trail Ridge Road Scenic and Historic Byway- The best way to see the Rocky Mountain National park is of course on your bike. This trail is the highest paved road in the US, and it doesn’t dead end! You will get to see elk, bighorn sheep and lots of other wildlife along the way! It has lots of twists and turns so you can see all of the beauty. Its 48 miles one way and will take you 2-3 hours.
If you have Time To Kill
Sante Fe Trail- This one way is 184 miles long and will take you about 4 hours. It originally carried pioneers and traders over the prairie in the 1800’s. Here you can follow the same wagon routes the pioneers used on your motorcycle. It’s a straight path and is pretty easy to ride.
San Juan Skyway- The mountains rise more than 11,000 feet above sea level. You will ride through Telluride and Silverton where its popular in mining. It will run you through some of the highest mountains in the United States. It’s a loop of 236 miles and will take you about 6 hours.
Unaweep/ Tabeguache- This highway played a big role in World War II. There are lots of history here on this trail. Dinosaurs and amphibian fossils can be found. Its 133 one way and will take you 3 hours.
